Maintaining current household budgets just becomes too difficult for some during retirement.  In addition, yard work, cooking and housecleaning become too much and many seniors consider assisted living.  Now there are some seniors opting for long-term living on a cruise ship.

Is living on a cruise ship a cheaper option than assisted living?

Assisted living can be very expensive and many retirees simply can’t afford it.  Moving to an assisted living community signals a loss of independence, traveling and enjoying life for some.

There is an alternative to assisted living though.  And it could be less expensive while providing some of the same perks and benefits: life on the high seas.

That’s right.  Cruise ship living could be a lower-cost way...
