Coca Cola’s First Alcoholic Drink

We are all familiar the iconic red label. Coca Cola has been one of the world’s most famous soft drinks for more than a century and has well-hidden its secret recipe. After 130 years, Coca-Cola is on the brink of a new chapter and plans to launch its first alcoholic drink.

Coca Cola is currently doing some experimenting with the creation of a popular type of Japanese alcopop known as Chu-Hi. Chu-Hi contains distilled shochu alcohol (a Japanese traditional hard liquor) mixed with flavoured carbonated water.

Launch in Japan
