I love sandwiches. When I visited Copenhagen , I tried those Denmark’s popular open-faced sandwiches, called smørrebrød.
Smørrebrød is prepared with a single slice of rye bread piled high with a wide variety of fresh toppings. Including hard-boiled eggs, smoked salmon, sliced radishes heaped onto a dark, shrimp with mayonnaise and fish eggs and much more. One of my favorite ones is roast beef with horseradish.
