Stockholm castle – Kungliga Slottet

Built from 1692 to 1754, the Royal Castle is located in the Gamla Stan district.

It is one of Scandinavia’s most magnificent Baroque buildings and is still used today for representative purposes by King Carl XVI Gustaf.

It is partially accessible and houses several museums.
