It is an impressive experience to wander through the caves in the Spanish province of Alicante. Stalactites and stalacmites emblazoned at the stone borders of the underground halls.
There is the Coves del Canelobre (Cathedral of the Caves. Located on the western slope of the Sierra del Cabeçó d ‘Or at an altitude of 700 metres.
The age of the limestone vault is estimated over 150 million years. Fantastic silhouettes and shapes reminiscent of animals or humans. Due to their acoustics, concerts and ballet performances occasionally take place here.
Then there’s the Cova del Rull (Diamond Cave), which tourists don’t have too long to access. In 1995, the municipality of Vall d
